The Meridian 59 Museum in Cor Noth keeps the history of the game itself: its releases, the people and creatures of its early days, and the towns as they first looked. No one may fight inside, and its portals take you back in time.
Inside#
Mychel, the curator, welcomes every visitor. Around him:

- The releases. A book on a pedestal tells the story of each of the game's releases, from its launch as The Internet Quest Begins in 1996, through Vale of Sorrows, Revelation, Renaissance, Insurrection and Dark Auspices, to Resurrection and Evolution in 2004, and the game's release as open source in 2012. Read them to learn what each one added.
- The miniatures. Models on the display tables, each with a plaque:
- people of old: a king, a princess, Duke Kalior (who ruled Tos before his murder put his nephew on the throne), the banker of Tos, a blacksmith, a priestess, an unholy priestess and a hermit;
- creatures: a fungus beast, an orc, a giant rat and a centipede;
- arms and armour: plate armour, gauntlets, a gold sword, a scimitar, leather armour, a round shield, a knight's shield, a gold shield and a magic spirit helmet;
- and a model chalice of the rain.
Look at any of them to read its plaque.
The historic towns#

Along the west wall stand five portals, each showing a town as it once was:
- Historic Jasper
- Historic Marion
- Historic North Barloque
- Historic South Barloque
- Historic Cor Noth, with the Historic Hall of Genealogy
Touch one to step through: you don't need to attune to them first. The historic towns are sanctuaries. Nothing hunts there, no one can fight, and you can log off safely. The towns' ghosts still go about their lives: pale, silent figures from long ago (Ambient Life). The two Barloques connect to each other, and so do Historic Cor Noth and its Hall. Every historic town has a portal of its own that brings you back to the museum.

Finding it#
The museum stands in Cor Noth, its doors marked The historical museum of Meridian59. New players are sent there by D'Franco, at the Cibilo Creek Inn: his quest The Meridian Museum asks you to visit it and step through one of its portals (the Tutorial).
