Priestess Zuxana leans close. "You have grown strong. Qor has noticed. There is a door to her realm, little one, a real one: two mad brothers opened it beneath the crypt of Marion, in their laboratory below the stone guardians, and wrote down how in a book they called 'The Ritual'. Bring six offerings, one for each of the gods, even the weaklings of the Light: every temple hands them to its faithful each day. Lay one on each short pedestal, and hers in the centre, where it belongs. Then ask her for her strength, with these words: 'Hear me Qor, accept my offer. Open your realm and lend me your strength.' Go through. Then come back and tell me how she welcomed you."
